INTEND - IED: Process guideline

This guide is intended to assist architects, engineers, clients and developers in designing high performance energy-efficient buildings. The guide focuses mainly on the process of IED, i.e. how the design team may organize their work in order to reach the goals. Thus, the guide will not make the reader an expert in designing energy-efficient buildings, but rather make him/her capable of better understanding the basic ideas of the IED process and its application.

INTEND - IED: Some principles of low energy design

IED - Some principles of low energy design, intended as an appendix to the IED process guideline and created to assist in the work of designing low energy buildings. This information considering relevant subjects of great importance to the total energy consumption of the building. The idea behind this is that the different parts involved in the design process can acquire the necessary information to both ask the relevant questions regarding this subject, and face different challenges in the best possible way to achieve optimal overall solutions.

HOSPITALS - Design handbook...

The design handbook on energy conscious hospital and health care building designs gives an introduction to strategies for savings of energy in buildings with focus on hospitals and health care buildings. It has been developed for the HOSPITALS project (www.eu-hospitals.net).
